Online Scholarship Application

The Robbinsville Hamilton Rotary offers three scholarship opportunities:

 

Robbinsville Hamilton Rotary Foundation Award

Award: Scholarship will vary in monetary value ($250-$1000)

Eligibility:  Senior who is continuing his or her education by pursuing a two or four year college, vocational or technical school and resides in Hamilton or Robbinsville. 

 

James A. Debold “Service Above Self” Award

Award: $1000.00 scholarship

Eligibility: Senior who is continuing his or her education in Communications or Journalism, including Advertising, Multimedia, Public Relations, Publishing and Radio/TV residing in Hamilton or Robbinsville.

 

Don Carrington Vocational/Trade School Scholarship

Award: $500.00 scholarship

Eligibility: For a senior student who is continuing his or her education at a technical, vocational, or trade school.

 

At the end of the first year of school, the recipient may be requested to present a short talk to the of Robbinsville Hamilton Rotary Club on his/her first year experience in their new school.

Essay 1

Describe your active participation in community service. This essay should demonstrate evidence of living your life by the motto: “Service Above Self.”
250 words maximum.

Essay 2

Describe your plans for continuing education. Include how you would use your education and experiences to give back to your community.
250 words maximum.

Note: By submitting this entry, you attest that all information presented above is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that the essay represents your own original work. Recipients agree to the use of their names and images in possible Rotary Club publicity about its scholarship program.
